Tamsin is a writer based in the North East of England.

For stage, their debut play CHEER UP SLUG was produced by Live Theatre in 2021, received a 4 star review from The Guardian and is published with Bloomsbury Methuen. Their play STUPID GIRLS was longlisted for the Verity Bargate Award 2024. and their play PONYBOYS longlisted for the North East Playwriting Prize 2026.
Tamsin was a member of the Orange Tree Writer’s Collective 21/22, a member of the first Royal Court Writer’s Group North and an Associate Artist with Live Theatre.
Their work for stage has been performed at Live Theatre, Northern Stage, Alphabetti, ARC Stockton, Nuffield Southampton Theatres, Royal Court Site Space, Bunker Theatre and more.
In 2024 Tamsin completed an AHRC Northern Bridge funded PhD in Playwriting at Newcastle University.
They are currently adapting THE LAMB by Lucy Rose for stage with director Anna Ryder.

For screen, they were a member of the BBC North East Voices 2021, shortlisted for the top 1% for the BBC Script Room Drama 2021, and was part of the New Writing North Adapt Screenwriting Programme where they wrote an original drama pilot for TV. They were part of the Channel 4 Screenwriting 2025 programme, writing an original queer romantic comedy sitcom set in the North East, with script editing by SeeSaw and C4.

Tamsin is currently developing their debut novel BITCH CASSIDY with mentorship from novelist Alice Slater, and support from New Writing North.

They are represented by Jessica Stewart at Independent Talent for their work for stage and screen.
